Woman Arrested for Animal Cruelty After Assaulting Dog With Frying Pan
Sheriff Mitch Ralston Reports:
On Saturday, March 11th, the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a woman allegedly striking a pet dog with a frying pan. Detectives initiated an investigation, interviewing witnesses and gathering physical evidence, which included a video recording. Alyssa Renae Duvall, age 19, of 224 Highland Drive, Calhoun was arrested on March 14th and charged with Animal Cruelty (Misdemeanor)She was released on $1000.00 bond. The investigative file will be forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
