Sheriff’s K9 Unit Visits John L. Coble Elementary School
Sheriff Mitch Ralston Reports:
On Friday, March 8th, the Sheriff’s K9 Unit visited John L. Coble Elementary School near Calhoun. The deputies and their canine “partners” conducted a demonstration for the students highlighting the dogs’ obedience, drug detection skills, and apprehension techniques. There followed an educational question and answer session. The deputies, the dogs, and the students all thoroughly enjoyed the demonstration.
