Calhoun Man Arrested For Aggravated Assault
Sheriff Mitch Ralston Reports:
Shortly after midnight on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, deputy sheriffs were dispatched to 107 Rutledge Drive near the Resaca community in response to a report of a man being stabbed in the face. The victim, a local man, was taken to Gordon Hospital and subsequently transferred to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. After interviewing witnesses and collecting physical evidence, Sheriff’s detectives arrested Johnny Michael Shehan, age 30, of Highway 136, Resaca, Georgia, and charged him with Aggravated Assault. He is being held in the county jail pending bond. Detectives are seeking other ‘persons of interest’ in this investigation, and additional arrests are possible.
