Calhoun Man Charged With Aggravated Assault After Domestic Disturbance
Sheriff Mitch Ralston Reports:
Yesterday afternoon, December 19, deputy sheriffs were dispatched to a private residence on McDaniel Station Road near Calhoun in response to a report of a domestic disturbance. The deputies found that a 33 year old man had suffered knife wounds to his hands during the disturbance. Eric Corbitt, age 27 was arrested at the scene without incident. Detectives recovered the knife believed to have been used in the assault. The victim was treated for non – life threatening wounds. Corbitt was charged with Aggravated Assault and lodged in the county jail pending bond proceedings.
