Calhoun Police and Deputies Arrest 3 In Connection With Residential Burglary

Sheriff Mitch Ralston Reports:

On Monday, May 26th, Calhoun City Police Officers responded to a report of a burglary-in-progress at a residence on Jones Road which borders an unincorporated area of the county. These officers apprehended Cody Elkins, age 24, of 1186 Newtown Loop as he was attempting to flee the scene in a pickup truck. In addition to arresting Elkins, the policemen recovered several items of stolen property. Sheriff’s detectives also responded to the scene and gathered additional physical evidence and questioned witnesses. During the subsequent investigation, detectives identified 2 other perpetrators, Aaron Solomon Bowling, age 21, of 1240 Hill City Road, and Anthony Ray Davis Jr, age 31, of 141 Cherokee Drive. Bowling and Davis were both arrested by uniformed deputies during the night of May 28th. All 3 have been charged with Burglary 1st Degree and are in jail awaiting bond proceedings.
