Deputies Arrest 3 in Connection With Methamphetamine and Firearms Violations

Sheriff Mitch Ralston Reports:

In the early morning hours of Sunday, April 20th, deputy sheriffs stopped a suspicious automobile on State Route 53 near Reeves Station Road in western Gordon County. A subsequent search of this car’s interior revealed a large quantity of methamphetamine intended for resale, drug paraphenalia, and a loaded handgun. The deputies arrested the driver of the vehicle, Gabreal Shane Brock, age 31, of 209 Jeep Street, Calhoun, and charged him with Possession of Methamphetamine With Intent to Distribute, Felon with a Firearm and other firearms violations, as well as traffic violations. There was already an outstanding warrant for Brock’s arrest for violation of probation at the time of this event. Two passengers, Walter James Durdin, age 43 of Aragon, Georgia and Jaclyn Nachol Adcock, age 26, of Rome, Georgia, were also charged with methamphetamine and firearms related offenses. All of the individuals were taken into custody at the scene without incident and are lodged in the county jail awaiting court appearance.
