Deputies Investigate Death
Sheriff Mitch Ralston Reports:
At about 7:50 a,m, this morning (October 8), deputy sheriffs were dispatched to a private residence on Dews Pond Road near Calhoun in response to a report of a death. There, deputies found the body of an adult male who’d died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Investigating detectives do not believe any foul play was involved. The investigation by Sheriff’s detectives and the County Coroner’s Office is continuing.
