Georgia Sheriff’s Association NEVER Telemarkets
Sheriff Mitch Ralston Reports:
“Some scam telephone calls have been received by citizens across Georgia from scammers claiming to represent the Georgia Sheriff’s Association and asking for donations. I want to remind all Gordon County citizens that the Georgia Sheriffs Association NEVER telemarkets or otherwise solicits by telephone. These calls seem to increase as the holiday season draws nearer. I also want to remind our community that you should never give personal or financial information to anyone you do not know personally.”
