PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:
“A terrible storm system recently impacted the American Midwest in which a series of devastating tornadoes tragically resulted in a number of deaths and catastrophic property damage. We have had our share of tornadoes, so we know how badly a community can be affected. And the people who live in our community are compassionate, kind, and giving.
Please do not fall victim to telephone scammers looking to profit off the misery of the folks who are suffering.
We recommend donating to well known and established local charitable organizations, such as our churches and our own civic organizations, for storm relief efforts.”
