The Gordon County Sheriff’s Office will not call you and request that you pay any type of bond. If you receive a telephone call trying to get you to pay the caller by any type of electronic or digital payment such as Apple Pay, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle etc. for the purpose of arranging a bond and release for an individual from Jail, it is a SCAM and is NOT LEGITIMATE.

If you receive this type of call report it to the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office.

The Gordon County Sheriff’s Office only processes bonds in person at the Gordon County Jail.
