Sheriff Receives Donation of Childrens’ Supply Bags
Sheriff Mitch Ralston Reports:
On Tuesday, July 11th, 2023, Sheriff Mitch Ralston received a dozen “supply bags” for children from ‘Adventure Bags‘ through the Georgia Kiwanis organization. The bags contain toiletries and other necessities for use in those instances when children are taken into emergency custody as a result of abuse or neglect. The bags were donated free of charge, and were delivered by Kiwanis Governor Darryl Gumz. Sheriff Ralston said, “Sincere thanks to Adventure Bags and the Georgia Kiwanis for this generous donation. These bags are a great help to the front line deputies who respond to reports of child abuse and child neglect. This is a wonderful program”.
