Sheriff Receives Elks’ Award
Sheriff Mitch Reports:
On Tuesday, May 21, Sheriff Mitch Ralston was honored by the Calhoun Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. 1883 by receiving the “Elks’ Distinguished Citizenship Award”. The Award was presented to Sheriff Ralston on behalf of the Grand Elks Lodge for his “outstanding and meritorious service to humanity“. The award was presented to the sheriff by Marilyn Roland, Leading Knight. Sheriff Ralston said, “it is a great honor to be recognized by such a wonderful organization which does so much for Calhoun and Gordon County”.
