Sheriff Seeks Public’s Help Locating Fugitive, Fugitive Apprehended
Sheriff Mitch Ralston Reports:
The Gordon County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating JAMES SHAMAR BOWDEN. He is being sought for the offenses of Rape and Child Molestation. He has no fixed address but stays in and about the Calhoun area. He is described as follows: a black/male age 33 years, height = 5’09” weight = 130 lbs. black, closely cut hair, brown eyes. If anyone has any information regarding BOWDEN’S whereabouts, please call 911 immediately.
UPDATE—UPDATE—UPDATE : 11:15 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019…Fugitive JAMES SHAMAR BOWDEN has been apprehended. He was arrested in Adairsville tonight after authorities received a tip about his whereabouts, and is facing additional criminal charges in Bartow County.
