Sheriff’s Jail Administrators Attend Advanced Training

Last week, September 25 – 29, Jail Administrator Major Pat Bedford and Jail Division Commander Captain Dylan Nicholas attended the National Institute for Jail Operations (NIJO)’ Elite Academy Training Program in Midway, Utah. The 40 hour advanced, executive level course is designed for command staff jail administrators. The instruction was centered around recent court decisions and case law, deployment of resources, legal liability, operational guidelines and development, technical innovations, and personnel management. The entire cost of the training, including transportation, was borne by the Legacy Inc. corporation.
