Tennessee Woman Arrested For Methamphetamine Trafficking 

Sheriff Mitch Ralston Reports:

At about 8:30pm last night (July 6), a deputy sheriff on patrol near the intersection of State Route 53 and Lovers Lane in Calhoun stopped a car bearing a Tennessee license plate for a number of traffic violations. The car pulled into the parking lot of a local business after the deputy activated his blue lights. A subsequent search of the car by deputies revealed a large quantity of methamphetamine. The driver, Kristy A. Helton a/k/a Heather Killen, age 34, of Old Fort, Tennessee, was arrested at the scene without incident. She was subsequently charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Giving False Information, and an array of traffic-related offenses. She is being held in the county jail pending bond proceedings.
