Sheriff Mitch Ralston Reports:
On Tuesday morning, April 16, 2013, Gordon County deputy sheriffs accompanied personnel from the US Marshal’s Service fugitive task force to a private home on Thomas Bluff Road near the Plainville community. The marshals were searching for Terrence Culberson regarding a warrant from Floyd County. Culberson was located and arrested without incident. Gordon County deputies subsequently conducted a search of the home which revealed several ounces of methamphetamine, several thousand dollars in cash, and firearms. Culberson, age 33, of 112 Thomas Bluff Road, and a female acquaintance, Brittany Nicole Ford, age 23, of the same address, were both taken into custody and charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime. Culberson was taken to the Floyd County Jail, and Ford was taken to the Gordon County Jail. The “street” value of the methamphetamine was estimated at $4000.00.
