Calhoun Man Arrested After Chase
Sheriff Mitch Ralston Reports:
A Calhoun man, Thomas Jason Evans, age 31, of 262 Prater Lake Road, was arrested Tuesday night, March 26 after a chase on State Route 136 and into the Pine Chapel Community. Deputy sheriffs deployed road spikes to stop the fleeing automobile. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphenalia. Evans was charged with Fleeing/Attempting to Elude Law Enforcement Officers, Reckless Driving, Possession of Less Than 1 Ounce of Marijuana, and Possession of Methamphetamine.
