Deputy Visits Calhoun Elementary School
Sheriff Mitch Ralston Reports:
Sheriff’s Sergeant Chad Phillips was a guest speaker today at Calhoun Elementary School. Sergeant Phillips spoke to the 4th grade about law enforcement in today’s society in general, and the Sheriff’s Office in particular, including the duties of the sheriff. He explained what qualifications are necessary to become a deputy, and also how rewarding the work is here in Gordon County. Sergeant Phillips is a 20 year veteran of the Sheriff’s Office, and resides here in Calhoun.
