Jasper Woman Arrested For Assortment of Drug Charges

Sheriff Mitch Ralston Reports:

At about 9pm Tuesday, October 10th, a deputy sheriff on patrol near Resaca observed a suspicious BMW automobile travelling  on State Route 136. The deputy stopped this vehicle and questioned the occupant, subsequently identified as one Kaitlyn Alyse Lieberman, age 33, of Big Canoe, Jasper, Georgia. A search of the interior of the vehicle revealed methamphetamine packaged for resale, illegal Schedule II narcotics,  marijuana, and related items. Deputies arrested Lieberman without incident. She was jailed and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine With Intent to Distribute, Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substances, and other drug related and traffic offenses. On October 15th, Lieberman was released from jail on $15,000.00 bond.
