Kentucky Men Arrested For Trafficking in Methamphetamine
Sheriff Mitch Ralston Reports:
On Wednesday evening, May 15th, deputy sheriffs from the Community Crime Prevention Unit (CCPU) were on patrol on Interstate 75 near Calhoun and stopped a suspicious Kentucky automobile for a traffic violation. When a deputy’s canine ‘partner’ alerted the deputy to the presence of illicit drugs, officers searched the interior of the car and discovered several ounces of processed methamphetamine. The occupants, John William Dale Coulter, age 30, of Louisville, Kentucky and James Leland Coulter, age 33, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky (understood to be brothers) were both arrested at the scene without incident. Both have been charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine and are being held in jail pending bond proceedings. Their automobile was seized subject to forfeiture.
